Coaching and Mentorship
Working alongside owners who would rather learn to run it than outsource it forever.
Not every business wants an agency on retainer forever. Some owners want to understand the thing well enough to run it themselves, and want someone experienced in the room while they learn. That is a different engagement from being a client, and pretending otherwise wastes everyone's money.
What you get
- Regular working sessions — your business, your numbers, your decisions
- Learning the marketing rather than receiving it: what to post, why, and how to tell if it worked
- Straight feedback on pricing, positioning, and where the time goes
- Help thinking through the hard calls: hiring, raising prices, turning work down
- Available in English, Spanish, or Portuguese
- A clear finish line — the aim is that you stop needing the sessions
Who it’s for
Owner-operators building something they intend to run themselves, first-generation business owners without a network to ask, and anyone who has been handed advice that assumed a budget they do not have.
Available across Boston, Framingham, Wellesley, Needham, Newton and the wider Northeast, in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
How it works
Four steps, in this order.
01
Start with the real situation
Not where the business should be. Where it is — the actual revenue, the actual hours, the actual bottleneck.
02
Pick one thing
Most owners are working on eight problems badly. Sessions are more useful when they are about the one that unlocks the rest.
03
Do the work between sessions
Coaching is not the work. It is the review of the work. What you do between sessions is what changes the business.
04
Hand it over
The goal is a business that runs without the sessions. If you still need them in three years, the coaching failed.
Common questions
How is this different from hiring AXIS to do the marketing?
In coaching you do the work and AXIS advises. On a retainer AXIS does the work. Coaching costs less and takes more of your time; a retainer costs more and takes less. Which one is right depends on whether your scarcest resource is money or hours.
Can we do sessions in Portuguese or Spanish?
Yes. AXIS works in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and around Framingham that matters — a good share of the businesses here run in another language at home.
Where
AXIS is based at 1253 Worcester Rd Ste 202, Framingham, MA 01701.
