Business Strategy and Systems
Working out what you actually sell, then building the systems that carry it.
Marketing fails most often for a reason that has nothing to do with marketing: the business has never decided what it sells, to whom, at what price. So the ads say one thing, the website says another, and the owner does the work of four people because nothing is written down. Spending on visibility before fixing that just brings more of the wrong calls, faster.
What you get
- Getting clear on the offer: what you sell, who it is for, what it costs
- Pricing that reflects what the work is worth rather than what you charged in year one
- Mapping how a job actually runs, from first enquiry to final invoice
- Building the systems that carry it — intake, quoting, scheduling, delivery, billing
- Automating the parts that do not need a person
- A client portal, where it makes sense, so customers can see their own work
Who it’s for
Owner-operators who are busy but not growing, and businesses where every process lives in the founder's head and nothing happens when they take a week off.
Available across Boston, Framingham, Wellesley, Needham, Newton and the wider Northeast, in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
How it works
Four steps, in this order.
01
Alignment
A session on what the business actually sells and who actually buys it. It sounds obvious. It is almost never written down, and almost every downstream problem traces back here.
02
Map the work
How a job moves through the business today — including the steps that only exist because someone remembers to do them.
03
Build the infrastructure
The tools, templates, and automations that make the process run the same way every time, whether or not you are in the room.
04
Scale
Growth that does not require hiring. The system absorbs more volume without absorbing more of your week.
Common questions
Is this consulting or is something actually built?
Both, and the second part is the point. A strategy document that nobody implements changes nothing. We build the systems as part of the work — the intake form, the automation, the portal — not just recommend them.
Do I need this if I just want marketing?
Not always. If you already know what you sell and to whom, and the operation runs without you, go straight to the marketing. If marketing has underperformed before, this is usually why.
